QVC France

In September 2014 SAS Systems LTD was awarded the contract for supplying the wiring and installation services for their new broadcasting facility in France. This was to be Located in an existing building in the French commune of Aubervilliers in the Seine-Saint-Denis department of the Île-de-France region in the north-eastern suburbs of Paris. Following an extensive refurbishment the building was due to be completed in March of 2015 when we would then commence the on-site installation.

The Broadcast Facility was to consist of the following:
1.    1 x 4 Camera Broadcast Studio
2.    1 x 2 Camera Broadcast Studio
3.    1 x Studio Gallery
4.    1 x Sound Galley
5.    1 x Master Control Room
6.    3 x Editing Suites
7.    1 x Graphics Suite
8.    1 x Audio Post Production Suite.
9.    1 x Engineering Lab
10.    1 x Central Apparatus Room

Prior to the installation in France QVC required SAS Systems LTD to prefabricate the broadcast system at their Chiswick Park premises. This involved the installation of the Video Audio, Network and Control Circuits into the equipment racks. The Equipment and System were then pre-configured before being shipped to France.The on-site installation in France began at the end of March 2015. SAS Systems LTD were able to complete the project in July 2015 allowing time for operator training before QVC France went on air on the 1st of August 2015.
